Submissions for Matchbook: Pieces of Poetry must follow the size specifications of no more than 22 characters in width (counting spaces), & no more than 24 lines in length. Fiction or Non-Fiction pieces can have up to 48 lines. If a piece is larger than this it cannot be considered for the journal. Submissions should consist of no more than 8 pieces & are open to poetry, fiction, & any other endeavor that will fit the size requirements. I am particularly interested in publishing collaborative projects. For artwork, please send work that will translate well to black & white in a very small space (slightly over one square inch). Instructional artwork is particularly desired (the first issue contained seven steps to make a matchstick rocket). Send either clean photocopies or a .PDF file and not your original copies. I do not currently accept electronic submissions, simultaneous submissions, or previously published material. Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for reply & contact information with all submissions.
Submissions for Manuscripts: Are currently closed to everything except for collaborations. I'm also interested in the possibility of printing graphic novel work, please query with an example of a page if interested.
